@alizasherman mentioned Utterz today in her post at WebWorker Daily. I noticed Aliza when she arrived at Utterz. Her usage of Utterz is perhaps the most interesting type of content production. I think a lot of people find out about Utterz and just start out giving background stories related to other, more composed stories or posts they’ve written for the other social web outlets. Others like Mark Rizzn Hopkins are observing and taking in all of the capabilities. However customers start out using Utterz, due to the availability of rich media and cross-posting, new customers start finding e talking into the camera or phone and getting really honest, and really interesting. Aliza is wrestling with an interesting issue right now — something you should all give a listen.
On a personal note, I’m very appreciative of this type of content because it is literally why I started out in the space in 2005. I worked closely with Adam Curry and the original set of podcasters and saw and heard amazing stories… Steve Gillmor and Michael Arrington going nuts on each other, Adam Curry laid bare talking about his mother’s passing, Michael Butler stumbling into emotional territory with the MommyCasters, Richrd Bluestein exorcising Madge, Dawn Micelli and Drew Domkus just dealing with all that life throws at them. I worked side by side with those people, became close to the people. I’m enjoying forming similar relationships here at Utterz — you’re all proving to be just as passionate and opinionated as the folks I just mentioned.
This content — stuff like Aliza’s posts — is so much more interesting and compelling than what you find, hear, see elsewhere. And, in all honesty, this is why I joined Utterz. I started following hundreds of customers, most with an interesting narrative, and I got sucked in. I’m sure many of you sometimes post and forget that people are watching, reading and listening. You should know that we’ve had a three-fold increase in customers in the last few months — more people are watching and listening than you might realize. We should all be motivated by the fact that new community members value Utterz not just for the production tool set, syndication benefits and supportive community, but because there is a really interesting content here. More people are here to enjoy what the prolific publishers are sharing.
Aliza’s stories are great, but she brings with her a reminder to be thankful for the thousands of other ongoing stories already playing out at Utterz.com. Please continue to create, connect and share — we’re on the cusp of something great here.

Thanks for sharing about Aliza; I have yet to experience her Utterz so I appreciate the tip. And thanks for supporting the community here.
Thanks for the comments! I love Utterz and do most of my uttering (utterzing?) in my car while driving through Anchorage, Alaska. Only real time I have quiet and some downtime so I try to make use of it!
